Soap Making and Goat Cheese
Workshops at Junie B. Farms

Why Soap and Goats?  Why Cheese and Goats?

I love to teach people where their food comes from, and what their food can make! Animals are therapeutic and a goat snuggle is magical often causing excessive laughter.  Laughter is great medicine – that equals good clean fun!

Join, Shawna McGrath, at Junie B. Farms as she guides you through the process of making goat milk soap from scratch!

You will learn the science behind soap making and experience the process from start to finish. This class will also include a farm tour of the goats so everyone will have a chance to meet and snuggle with the goats whose milk we will use! This is a fun behind the scenes look into the work of a small scale farm designed to help you understand the role that goats play on a farm.

Each person will get to take home their very own bar of soap. You are welcome to bring any fun essential oils or dried flowers to personalize your soap. Some supplies will be available for use!

Homemade goat cheese and other small snacks will be served along with a warm cup of tea! Goat cheese recipes and how to’s are also provided upon request!

This class is recommended for adults, mature teenagers, Girl Scout groups,  Girls Night Out, and Special Family classes.

Cost is $15.00 a person with a minimum of 5 people per workshop.
